Monday Mar 15 2010 I am happy to report that the uncovered portion of the patio has a nice sand colored surface. A few spots where the exposed concrete is rough will get a touch of additional paint today. Next for the day is landscape care and a re-fitting of the guestroom entry plus paint. The guestroom door has stuck when it's damp for years and I've never had someone around to help while I was in the mood to do it. I mentioned it to Shorty the other day and didn't get a response. Shirley mentioned it to him after not being able to get in the guestroom. We'll take it down and trim it today (chuckle). |
Somewhere along the trail is a lot of cleanup after all the construction projects of late. I started yesterday evening but after a full day of prep. and painting my heart wasn't totally in it. Today should be better- from that aspect anyway. I forgot there was some concrete work yesterday too. Shorty thought that the small part on our side of the building that wasn't concrete and did indeed look strange - alas no longer. It's all concrete minus some drainage provisions. That spot was fine till I had to move a shed to make room for the tapper room - That's been a while back. | |
